Learning that your Social Security Disability application has been denied can be devastating. As experienced SSDI representatives, however, we are here to tell you: There is hope to get the benefits you need.
Our firm helps people throughout Southern Indiana through every step of the SSDI application process. The Social Security Administration (SSA), which administers SSDI benefits, is well-known for rejecting large numbers of applications the first time around. Even people with legitimate and serious conditions may have to go through one or more steps of the appeals process. If your claim has been rejected and you are looking for an experienced guide to help you get the benefits you need, we are here to help you.
With Olsen & White, LLP, you get more than experienced attorneys and staff. Our team includes experienced SSD Advocate Denny Sullivan, who has decades of experience working directly with SSD Determination. His knowledge of SSA practices and decision-making is a significant benefit to our clients when they count on SSDI benefits.

The SSA has established four levels of appeal for denied SSDI applications. We can help you through as many steps as it takes to get a final decision on your claim. The steps in an SSDI appeal are:
- Reconsideration (depending on state of residence): At this level, your claim is reviewed by a DDB Adjudicator who was not involved in the initial claim.
- Administrative hearing: If denied at both initial and reconsideration levels, a request for hearing by an administrative law judge can be filed. We will ensure you are prepared for case presentation.
- Appeals Council: If denied at three prior levels, a request for review can be requested. We will prepare and submit a brief on your behalf.
- Federal lawsuit: If unsuccessful at all prior levels, we can represent you in federal court.
It is important that you speak with a representative as soon as possible about your denied benefits. For a free, no-obligation consultation with one of our representatives, send an email or call our Evansville office at 812-297-5528 (toll free 877-423-3143).
